Dr. Steven Burres is a Beverly Hills celebrity surgeon, him and his techniques have been featured on national TV shows such as Oprah, Entertainment tonight, Extra, MTV, and lots more.  Besides being a media favorite he has the exceptional training, experience and credentials that represents.  He has performed thousands of all of the procedures he offers

     TRAINING

Dr. Steven Burres went to college and medical school at the prestigious University of Chicago, where President Obama taught law.  Incredibly, he finished medical at the age of 24!  He then trained in general surgery and as an ear,nose and throat surgeon.  After completing his residency, Dr. Burres did TWO FELLOWSHIPS at the most eknown institutions in the world-the University of Zurich in Switzerland and Stanford University in facial motion and plastic surgery.

      AWARDS

Dr. Steven Burres has the unique distinction of winning TWO FIRST PLACE AWARDS, one from his medical school and the other from the ear,nose and throat academy for his studies of the face.  Hundreds of the finest surgeons in the country compete for these awards every year.  

         BOARD CERTIFICATION

Dr. Steven Burres is certified by three boards, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPRS), and the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.  Triple board certification is a special distinction.

          PUBLICATIONS

Dr. Steven Burres has published over 30 scientific papers, several book chapters, and a book on cosmetic surgery called “BUYING BEAUTY”.  Copies are available through Amazon.com website or the office.

For the past 25 years, Dr. Steven Burres has been a sought after national and international speaker.  Often his papers and topics are lead articles and stories.

           INVENTOR

Dr. Steven Burres is known internationally as the developer of Fascian, an injectable filler product used by thousands of physicians for many years.  He also developed a skin abraider and surgical ruler.

           SURGICAL INNOVATOR

Not just a master of the common techniques, Dr. Steven Burres developed many named techniques.  These include Recollagenation, his unique technique for repairing depressed “acne scars”.  For nasal problems, he first described the Isis Cruraplasty.  His Maxout cheek implant was a lead journal article in a national scientific plastic surgery journal when it was first described.  His minimally invasive, Anterior-Posterior Otoplasty is a revolutionary technique for ear reshaping.  He’s a pioneer of many more techniques, liposuction breast reduction, super tummy tuck, miniflap hair reconstruction, etc.

Dr. Steven Burres is an attending physician at the prestigious Cedars sinai hospital in Beverly Hills.  He is also a clinical instructor at USC-LA County Medical Center.  He is former UCLA faculty and instructor.

              PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

FIRST DEGREE BLACK BELT -in Shotokan karate.  

LA MARATHON- Dr. Burres has run the LA marathon over 20 times.  He typically finishes in the upper 10%

FINE ART PAINTER-Dr. Steven Burres paints fine art and has had his art shown in galeries.  Most of his offices are decorated with his own works.

LINGUIST-  Dr. Steven Burres speaks german and spanish conversationally, as well as bits of French, Japanese and Russian

AUTHOR- Dr. Steven Burres has written three screen plays and several fiction works.
